Combining some of the best dressage horses in the world EVER, this very young 2019 stallion has only just started his standing at stud career in late '22.
Lifetime graded with Breeders Elite SEIS and AES. WFFS tested negative / non carrier and had a 100% conception rate in 2022.
Bringing the lines of multiple World Cup winners and medalists - Weihegold OLD, Totilas and Briar - this Total Hope OLD son has a lot to offer!
He is still young himself (from late August 2019) and we will expect him to grow a little too. He has a super powerful engine and hindleg, and he will be given time to mature and will not be not pushed.
He is sired by Total Hope OLD, who is the result of the crossing between the best mare in the world and the best stallion in the world.
Total Hope was the Stallion Performance Test Winner in 2016 in the Sweden and has despite his very young age (born 2012) already had an incredible competition career; He was the winner of the prestigious Nuremberg Burg Cup as well as the Louis D'Or finals in Germany as the only stallion ever, and only horse to ever have won both finals is his dam Weihegold.
Total Hope was awarded with 10's for his piaffe, passage and tempichanges and he clearly has inherited the talent for collection from his parents. Total Hope won bronze at the WCYH for 7 year olds.
Total Hope was the winner of the Swedish Premier Prize in 2016 and won his first Grand Prix as only 8 year old and he recently was awarded as Stallion of the Year in Sweden (2021). He debuted in Grand Prix internationally in May 2022, winning both his Grand Prix and coming 3rd in Grand Prix Special and qualified for World Championship later this year in Denmark (2022). Danish Warmblood filly of the year in Denmark was sired by Total Hope. In January 2023 Total Hope was awarded 'VTV Oldenburg Stallion of the Year 2022'
Total Hope's sire Totilas revolutionized the dressage sport in recent years and achieved a high status as double European champion in Windsor in 2009, won three gold medals at the 2010 World Cup in Lexington, and beat several world records. In 2014, Totilas won the Grand Prix in Aachen and as of the beginning of 2018 he had produced 16 approved sons.
Totilas is also known as the best dressage horse of all time– Three-time World Champion, Three-time world record holder. A dressage stallion in perfection, a living legend of such a quality that is certainly unique: He set three world records, which he himself had broken again and again, within a short time under Edward Gal. Within the space of only two years, this exceptional stallion has won all the titles there are to win – two times Individual Gold and a Team Gold at the 2010' World Championships, Individual and Team Gold at the European Championships in Windsor, 2010' World Cup winner and best horse of the German silver team under Matthias Alexander Rath in 2011.
Sire of Totilas, Gribaldi, was Trakehner champion stallion, Trakehner stallion of the year 2008 and was himself internationally successful with Edward Gal. Totilas' dam Lominka has produced one intermediate and one advanced level dressage horse as well as Totilas' full sister, Uusminka. Granddam Elsa produced the advanced dressage horses Talan and Uljanoff. The dam line, which includes a lot of Holstein blood, has produced numerous approved stallions and many successful competition horses.
Total Hope's dam Weihegold OLD was the winner of the 2018 Oldenburg Elite Mare show and in 2013 she won the Nuremberg Burg pokal final in Frankfurt. Later she won the Louis D'or prize for potential Grand Prix horses. Winning both these two prestigious competitions have only been achieved by Weihegold and later her son Total Hope.
Weihegold is a multi medal winning mare with several world cup victories and Olympic medals in her bag. They won the World Cup Finals 3 years in a row (2017, 2018 and 2019). On Total Briar's dam side we have Hauptstutbuch mare Briarose, who is sired by Bjorsells Briar - another World Cup medalist and very successful dressage stallion. Briar was on the Swedish national team for 9 years and he was the youngest horse to compete in the Sydney Olympic games. He won several olympic medals as well as European Championship medals.
He participated in every single World Cup final between 2001 and 2009 as well as doing all summer Championships. He was the Swedish Warmblood Stallion of the Year in 2010 and 2011. Briar was sired by Magini, out of Charis, by Krocket. His pedigree is as much Swedish Warmblood as it gets. In his third generation it’s possible to find the first individuals from other studbooks, with Hanoverian Utrillo as his great-grandshire and Illum as great-damsire. For those who are a little familiar with Swedish showjumping, you might recognise Magini’s name as an international showjumper.
Dam of Briarose is Pia descents from Pik Bube and Pik Koenig via Pik Senior.
