Newly graded in 2022 and passing his grading with ridden assessment only 3 weeks after having rider on for the very first time, this stallion has the looks, the personality and the scope to have a very bright future! He had a 100% conception rate in 2022.
His sire Woodlander Santana has in his short competition career achieved 88.83% in the Abbey Dressage Badminton Young Horse Qualifier for 4&5 year olds. He also qualified for the Shearwater International by winning the Qualifier at the Welsh Festival. Santana also sired the successful pony stallion Woodlander Sir Gorgeous that was sold to USA in 2021.
Santana's sire Sir Donnerhall is one of the very best dressage sires in the world, and he ranks only 3 places behind his sire Sandro Hit. Sir Donnerhall has sired over 100 licensed stallions, including numerous champions and premium stallions, WBFSH medalists as well as several highly ranked competition horses.
Sir Donnerhall was second Reserve Champion at the Oldenburg licensing in 2003, winner of his stallion performance test and awarded the Ia main premium in 2005, and German Champion and Vice World Champion (5 y.o.) in 2006. He was the winner of the Bundeschampionat.
Sir Donnerhall's sire is the legendary Sandro Hit, the winner of WCYH for 6 year olds as well as Bundes Championate - he is clear foundation sire who has become the name behind the S-line.
He has sired over 200 licensed sons and nearly 500 state premium mares. Sandro Hit's most famous licensed sons are of course Sir Donnerhall, Sunny Boy, Sandro King, San Amour and Stedinger, but names such as Sancisco, Samarant, San Remo (hanoverian stallion), Serano Gold, Blue Hors Soprano, San Schufro, and many more are well known. He has sired several olympic horses as well as in the Tokyo Olympic 2020 he was the sire that appeared in most pedigrees.
Sandro Hit is currently ranked 1st on the WBFSH sire ranking (2021).
The damline of Santana descents from the motherline of St Pr Pikantje, who was German Bundeschampioness as a three year old and laid the foundation for top breeding stallions such as Weltregent H and Weltroyal as well as numerous sportshorses.
Santana's dam Alabama is sired by Alabaster, a former Federal Champion of young dressage horses is shaped by his refining ancestor, the foundation sire Abglanz, who established the radiance and beauty of the Trakehner in the Hanoverian breed after World War II.
Alabaster was a horse of incredibly beautiful conformation and outstanding basic paces. He produced seven licensed stallions, including Abanos. His most famous offspring in the showring is Isabell Werth’s Grand Prix dressage horse, Apache
Hevans Shockadelica's dam Didansa (imported from Holland) combine San Remo and Lancet.
Damsire San Remo was ridden by Edward Gal in Holland and under Edward Gal the black stallion finished fifth in the 2004 Pavo Cup Finals for 4-year olds. He was also third in the 2003-2004 KWPN Stallion competition circuit. The horse qualified for the 2004 World Young Horse Championships in Verden, where he finished 16th in the consolation finals. In 2004-2005 KWPN Stallion Competition he finished second overall. San Remo sired two (!) KWPN Elite Mare Champion (2006: Wiona Utopia who is a maternal sister to Vivaldi and 2011: D.Obertje).
San Remo's sire Wolkentanz I is one of the successful sons of the legendary sire Weltmeyer is the chestnut stallion Wolkentanz. He became Champion Stallion at the Verden licensing in 1993. One year later in 1994 he won the three-year-old stallions classification at the Federal Championships of German Riding Horses, and was runner-up in the stallion performance test. In 1995 Wolkentanz was honored as the best stallion of his age-group. Wolkentanz's offspring have been turning heads with their fantastic movements, wherever they competed or were inspected. In 2001 Wolkentanz I produced both the champion colt and filly of the German Foal Championships with both scoring perfect 10's on their gaits! Thus, Wolkentanz appears to be Weltmeyer's best producing son so far.
Didansa's damsire Lancet is a son of the well-known dressage sire Wenzel I, by Woerman. The "W" line in Hannover has also brought forth the excellent stallions Welcome, World Cup I, Western Star and Weltmeyer.
Lancet was approved by the KWPN as a three year old and after his approval he won the stallion competition two years in a row. Lancet has gone on to the highest level in dressage with rider Imke Schellekens-Bartels. The pair competed on the Dutch Olympic Team, placing 11th in the individual competition and 4th in the team competition. Lancet was the ambassador for the Dutch at the Olympic Games in Athens. Lancet competed in the Olympics in Bejing. AT the 2008 CDI London Olympia Horse Show, the KBIS Dressage Horse of the Year was awarded to Lancet, who finished fourth in the team test and seventh overall at the Olympics.
